"1910" Competition Results

The 1910 competition took place on Short Siberia on Sunday 8th June in almost perfect weather - sunny, a light breeze, light cloud, but, sadly, slightly light on numbers too - barely 20 turned out to prove their marksmanship.

However some respectable scores were achieved, with Bill Ellis winning the 1910 classic Service Rifle and the Chindit veteran classes with his M1917 and No 4 respectively.  Rob Bennett had a clear lead over the four other entrants in the Imperial, reinforcing the myth that the No1 is the best rifle for the job.

Hopefully next year we can attract more entries and give our loyal markers a little more exercise!
