Announcement by the Home Office re firearms licensing fees

The Government has announced today (12 March) its agreement for the firearms licensing fees administered by the police to be increased in-line with the proposals set out in the public consultation document of November/December 2014.

The new fees come into effect from 6th April 2015.

The Government’s response to the public consultation on the proposal to increase firearms licensing fees administered by the police has also been published. A link to the Government’s response is attached and will be available to download via the GOV.UK website: -
