On Saturday 10th November the NRA organised the “Armistice Centenary Commemoration Match” supported by LERA and open to all comers.

There were various competitions and a number of HBSA members took part. The rifles used were mainly SMLEs although one or two other WW1 rifles such as P14s were evident. The finale after the five matches was a “mad minute” shot with SMLEs alongside a Vickers belt fed, water cooled, MG kindly provided by Fultons.

We congratulate the two HBSA medal winners:-

Bill Ellis                   Match 1 Fixed Bayonet     Bronze
Tony Cattermole     Match 5 Kneeling Snaps   Bronze

See video link for the MG footage which will also be on the NRA website.
