Following the NRA’s sudden truncation of our 200 yard Short Siberia booking on the afternoon of 21st May we would like to offer a one-off Historic 100 Yard Competition for .22 , Miniature and Gallery rifles, to be fired prone.

There will be four classes:
  • HISTORIC RIMFIRE:   Classic, Veteran and Post-Veteran* Miniature Rimfire Rifles with contemporaneous sights (iron or optical)
  • MINIATURE and ROOK&RABBIT:    Classic and Veteran Miniature Centrefire Rifles with contemporaneous sights (iron or optical) chambered for a cartridge for which the Factory Loading Muzzle Energy is less than 450 ft.lbs. (e.g. 310Cadet 32/20 300Rook 380Long etc.)
  • MRSB:             Any 22RF rifle, any sights
  • TRSB:             Any 22RF rifle, iron sights only (no wrist rest permitted)
The course of fire will be up to five sighting shots and then ten shots to score; barrel warming shots will be allowed at the range officer’s discretion. Multiple entries with different rifles are encouraged, initially to be limited to a maximum of three entries per person. Non-HBSA members will be welcome, paying just £3 green fee.
Currently we have plenty of range space so book your entries now, and certainly before 14 May, so that we can judge the likely demand. Online booking is HERE >>>>; the event will be fully squadded, so there will be no entries on the day.

Why not enjoy a friendly afternoon out, easy on your pocket and your shoulder?
