The HBSA has a pool of volunteer RCOs who run our competitions and practices. The Committee has incomplete records of those who are currently RCOs and would also like to encourage more members to volunteer to perform these essential duties.

If you are already an RCO, please let me know with your details, and if you also hold the NRA RCO qualification, please list the disciplines in which you are qualified.

If you would like to volunteer as an RCO, please forward me your name and HBSA membership No. and arrangements can be made to pair you with an experienced RCO in order to gain more confidence before running a range on your own.

If any member wishes to gain the NRA RCO qualification (which is mandatory in order to run any shoot on MOD Ranges other than at Bisley) the Committee would be prepared to pay half of the course fees with the proviso that those qualifying give a commitment to using their skills for the benefit of the HBSA by running a few of our practices and competitions !

I hope to hear from some of you soon,

Mike Townsend
