Imperial Historic Arms Meeting (IHAM) 5 & 6 July

posted 30 Jun 2014, 03:33 by Tony Cattermole   [ updated 30 Jun 2014, 03:36 ]
This is an significant meeting for our type of firearms, and it occupies an important place in the NRA's annual Imperial Meeting. It offers us a broad range of opportunities to shoot our historic firearms, and in styles of competition with a long history.  We should treasure and nurture this opportunity, but entries this year are so low that the future of the entire meeting must be in doubt.

Despite what it may say on the Entry Forms, the NRA are very happy to accept late entries and entries on the day, so there is no excuse for not entering.  To get a flavour of the range of opportunities the entry forms can be downloaded from the NRA's Events page ( http://www.nra.org.uk/common/asp/calendar/events.asp?site=NRA) or we have attached copies here.

And as a bonus, if you come down that weekend you can also browse the goodies at the IHAM Arms Fair organised by the HBSA, and also deserving of your support.

This really is "Use it or lose it" time.
