Open Meeting Sunday 16th August 2015 Practice Day Saturday 15th August 2015 900 & 1000 Yards Classes for Vintage, Classic, Veteran and Post Veteran First generation 7.62mm Service and Target Rifles The Long-Range Championship Meeting will be held at Bisley on Century ranges on Sunday 16th August, with a practice day on Saturday 15th. This match is run by a very small group of volunteers as are all the events organized by the HBSA. This year is proving to be very challenging; we are having great difficulty in securing markers. At the present time we have been assured that we will have the services of an experienced Butt Supervisor but will probably have to use NRA markers. Please be aware that this is a very fluid situation and we may be forced to cancel the shoot if we are unable to secure markers for the match. Paul Smith will once again be the Match organizer and the entry form includes the contact details. This event is intended to encourage the use of Vintage, Classic, Veteran and Post Veteran first generation 7.62mm Service and Target rifles under competitive conditions but mainly to have an enjoyable day shooting alongside other like minded individuals. If you have not previously attended this meeting come and have a go, we are always ready to assist and encourage new comers. If you own a suitable rifle come and have a go, you never know you may well show us all how it should be done. There are classes for just about every type of Historic Rifle. Entry forms can be found on the HBSA Website or from Paul Smith E-Mail: midlands@hbsa-uk.org Additional assistance is required throughout the year. Any one prepared to offer their services and assist in running practice days should contact Mike Townsend who is coordinating all the range bookings etc. E-Mail: rifle.practice@hbsa-uk.org Please refer to the HBSA website for the most up to date information regarding range bookings etc. |
