In preparation for the Long Range Open Meeting

To be held on Sunday 17th August 2014

A Practice Day Shoot has been booked for

Saturday 16th August 2014

900 & 1000 Yards

In preparation for The Long-Range Championship Meeting to be held at Bisley a practice shoot has been arranged for Saturday 16th August.

However at this moment in time interest in the practice day has been very poor.

As you can imagine costs for running such a shoot are not cheap.

We would therefore ask that anyone interested in participating in the Practice day email their intent before Saturday 2nd August.

Dependent upon the response we will decide what action to take.

3 options are possible, the booking can continue as advertised, shoot am only (900 fall back to 1000) or cancel.

We have a volunteer ready willing and able to run the event all we need is enough members to make it viable.

So please let us know if you wish to take part.

Entry to the Long Range match is still open but the response this year has been very good and space is now limited.

If you have not yet entered and wish to do so please email your intentions As Soon As Possible and we will do our best to accommodate all those interested.

This event is intended to encourage the use of Vintage, Classic, Veteran and Post Veteran first generation 7.62mm Service and Target rifles under competitive conditions but mainly to have an enjoyable day shooting alongside other like minded individuals.

If you have not previously attended this meeting come and have a go, we are always ready to assist and encourage new comers.

If you own a suitable rifle come and have a go, you never know you may well show us all how it should be done.

There are classes for just about every type of Historic Rifle.

If you don’t know how you or your rifle perform at Long Range take advantage of the Practice Day.

Entry forms can be found on the HBSA Website or from Paul Smith
