Mid Range Competition 2020

posted 28 Sept 2020, 12:50 by Tony Cattermole   [ updated 28 Sept 2020, 12:50 ]
This took place on Sunday 27 September at Bisley.

The course of fire was 2 convertible sighters and 10 to score. The morning session was at 300 yards, the afternoon at 500 yards.

The weather was pleasant (16 degrees Celsius) moderate breeze in the morning stiffening somewhat in the afternoon. This was up-range toward the firers and little windage adjustment was needed. The wind, however, did have a marked chilling effect!

The usual niggles with Bisley, morning wrong targets, afternoon no targets, were resolved taking about 35 minutes before the afternoon session was able to start.

We had 11 competitors and one no show. 17 cards were shot.
I think all in all it was a pleasant days shooting.

Finance: the ranges cost £226 for the day, 2 markers £220 total £446.00
Takings were £420.00 so a small loss was made.
