The association is increasingly offering online booking for our events and competitions: it saves you having to find chequebook, envelope and stamp, plus the walk to the postoffice; it saves us having to receive, record and bank your cheque. For those members with online banking and no chequebook, it has proven a godsend.
We use Paypal as our payment processing agent for this purpose, but this does NOT mean that YOU need a Paypal account to use this facility. YOU can pay for our online bookings with any regular credit or debit card. For the foreseeable future we will continue also to accept cheque payments, posted to the organiser of the relevant event or competition. We do not encourage direct transfer into our bank account, since it makes a nightmare of the reconciliation. |
