Phoenix meeting 27, 28, 29th May 2016

posted 17 May 2016, 04:02 by Tony Cattermole
As members should be aware we are working with the NRA to promote more shooting of classic and historic arms in the various Bisley NRA meetings, in addition to the regular IHAM and Trafalgar meetings.

The Phoenix is one such meeting. This link>>>>   will take you to the meeting details on the NRA website where you can find further links to the online or downloadable Entry Form.

For HBSA members there are various classic competitions -
  • Comps 5987 and 6187 for BP Cartridge Rifle,
  • Gallery Rifle CF Classic (0104 and 0304),
  • Gallery Rifle small bore (0101, 0301 these are classified so you will shoot against competitors of the same level) - this class we will seek to get a classic class if there is interest.
  • Service Rifle pre 1955 (5781, 2 and 3; 5981, 2, and 3; and 6181, 2, and 3 according to range)
There are also Black Powder ML competitions for both rifle and pistol e.g.
  • various classes from 0141 to 4146,
  • and long range BP pistol 5142, 5342)
of interest to MLAGB members and HBSA members who shoot ML arms.

Additionally there will be trade stands and the arms fair to allow you to stock up, keep you amused, or spend money between shoots as well as seeing HBSA colleagues on our stand in the Pavilion.

Do give it a try and let us have feedback on your experience.
