I have been working on the Revolver chapter of a forthcoming book on Imports for the Confederacy – hopefully this (written by well-known U.S. author Russ Pritchard) will be published very soon. He has asked for my assistance in one matter, and I think that HBSA Members might be able to assist.

As you know Mike Nicholls of Bromsgrove was deeply involved with this book but I lost contact with Mike over two years ago. I suspect that he has moved but I can't do anything about that, particularly long distance . Mike had been working on a history of the Birmingham Small Arms Industry for 40 years. He set that project aside to help me. Somewhere, there are files, notes and a computer chock full of information that may prove very useful to someone working on a similar project. It would be a shame to see all that lost.

Does anyone know of Mike’s whereabouts, or any possible contacts?

Information – however slight – to <jim@jimhallam.eu> would be greatly appreciated.
