Dear HBSA members,
I have arranged what I think is a trip to a fantastic collection; The Vickers Machine Gun Collection and Research Association.

I have 20 places available so please book your spot quickly to avoid disappointment. Book here >>>>

The visit is planned for 10:30am on Saturday the 28th of March.

I would suggest allowing 2 hours for the talk and tour. However if you have questions and a particular interest it is possible to stay on. It is open to all club members and interested guests. Please take a look at the website, it is a great source of information and pictures:  https://vickersmg.blog/

It is located near to Swindon, Junction 15 on the M4.

Detailed information will be available once your place is booked.

The cost is £10 per person. All the money for these visits is put back into the Vickers Museum association.
The fee includes the talk, and a blank fire demonstration of a Vickers, and tea and biscuits.

The chap who runs this collection is Richard Fisher. He is a mine of information on Vickers. I'm sure he can answer any questions you may have on anything relating to the Vickers.

The Vickers mg collection and research group is the best collection of Vickers-related and machine gun Corp information and literature in the world, and it is a first-class display of the legendary Vickers mg and related small arms.

I feel it's important for shooters and collectors to support these groups and collections as once they are gone they never get replaced.

As the HBSA doesn't have a central location, I don't feel it is a viable option to arrange transport. However I'm happy to organise car shares and I can organise a staging post in Little Chalfont HP7 9NE to meet at 9am for a cuppa and car share if there is interest.

Thanks,
